New York, NY - With the New York Cosmos NASL return less than a month away, the Borough Boys has been extremely busy over the past few days. On Wednesday, many of their members attended the open practice over at the James M. Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University.
They followed up with their successful and jam-packed Membership event which featured Cosmos COO, Erik Stover addressing the Borough Boys. Over the weekend, the Borough Boys carried their momentum as several of their members worked on a banner painting project.
Borough Boys President, Nick Laveglia commended their efforts on the Borough Boys Facebook page where he wrote, “Special Shoutout to those who helped in the banner painting this weekend. Frankie Fraser, Brian Brooker, Bill Goodenough, Anthoney Stephens, Zachary David Muniz, Liz Carozza, Jay Zuluaga and Michael Schemmel and a very special thanks to Jayaugust Manning-Laisne and Tim Pickerill for really taking the lead with the banner project.”
