New York, NY - I wanted to take a moment to thank Vinny and the Staff over at Jack Demsey’s for their hospitality. It’s not your fault that the bus company dropped the ball and whatever malfunction it suffered. You’ve always been good to us and this in no way affects my admiration for your establishment.
I also want to thank the members of the Sagan’s Army, La Banda Del Cosmos and the Borough Boys for such a fantastic time. It’s not often I’m free running in Manhattan in order to arrive at a certain destination on time. Needless to say, I still have my stamina, flow and ability to penetrate through the chaotic traffic of NYC.
Hell, just being able to break out my polo shirt with old school Cosmos and NASL patches was well worth the attempted trip. With that said and because many of you asked, here’s the store where I had obtained these gems, Click Here.
While many of us would have loved to have made the trip, the intent was there.
As the iconic Bruce Lee stated, “A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.” Whether we made the trip or not, we played a role in raising money for a worthy cause. To have over 50 supporters for a Tuesday night preseason match was amazing. August 3rd certainly looks promising…
