United extended its unbeaten streak to ten games and leapfrogged the San Antonio Scorpions to earn the top spot in the NASL Fall Season Table going into Sunday.
The Tampa Bay Rowdies climbed into the fourth and final position in The Championship, topping the New York Cosmos at Al Lang Stadium. The 3-1 win also solidified the Rowdies’ third-place position in the NASL Fall Season Table, keeping them right on the heels of Minnesota and San Antonio.
FC Edmonton earned a dramatic road win in Carolina, putting them even in the Fall Table with the Cosmos and the Atlanta Silverbacks, who grinded out a 1-1 draw against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at Lockhart Stadium.
